Circle Sadhana~ Vinyasa of the Hoop
Experience a unique form of mind-body-awareness training using a hoop and Prana Flow-inspired vinyasa sequences.  Integration of the Hoop, a symbol of unity and continuity, invites greater opening throughout the body, while honing one’s sensitivity, balance, and embodiment of energetic alignment.  We seek harmony of strength and fluidity, that of the graceful warrior who serves the Sacred Hoop of Life. Class will be playful, joyful, and creative, both with and without the hoop.

BIO:
A mover and shaker all her life, Michelle Nayeli embraces the wild, celebratory, and transformational aspects of embodiment, and lives for that nameless connection to the ecstatic divine which we often call “flow”. A lifelong dancer-yogini, Michelle has been blessed with amazing teachers throughout her life, having been particularly touched by Tim Miller, Tias Little, John Friend, the global AcroYoga tribe, Christopher‚ Hareesh‚ Wallace, Christopher Tompkins, and Shiva Rea, whom she continues to assist as much as possible! Nearly twenty years of yoga practice have woven together with studies in Ecology, Herbalism, Shaiva Tantra, Thai Massage, Contemporary Dance, Capoeira, Tribal Bellydance and Hoopdance to expand what embodiment practice means to her, and can be through her offerings as a teacher. Yoga is a state of connection to our essence and truth, and Michelle’s intention is to evolve our collective notion of Sadhana~ that there are many ways to reach the state of flowing presence and inner radiance!

Michelle Nayeli, a mostly self-taught hoopdancer, is a leader in the emergence of Hoopdance as a personal Sadhana. She has taught yoga, hoopdance, and somatic arts at studios across the country, national conferences and festivals for the past thirteen years. Michelle currently resides in San Francisco where she teaches public Prana Flow and Hoopdance classes while maintaining a private practice.
